SARAH'S ART

Sarah has practiced as an artist since she was at school. She has exhibited her work in exhibitions in Lindfield, Horsham, London and Sydney. In 2022 she has had work on display at The Green Tree Gallery (Borde Hill) and The Nuffield (Haywards Heath). In her more recent work Sarah has found inspiration in nature, particularly with poppy and seed heads, thistles and other flora. She loves to create images using a variety of mixed media and techniques to create unique surfaces, texture and detail.

 

All her works are originals; some on canvas, some on paper and some on old book leaves. Each piece is a combination of layers of paint and ink, using cling film, sponges and good old-fashioned brushes. She also enjoys mono-printing, creating layers of printed images, sometimes with added detail drawn in using her favourite inks and a stick. Follow her on Instagram @sarahcoleartwork
